PENGARUH LATIHAN SKIPPING TERHADAP TINGGI LONCATAN ATLET BOLA VOLI
Abstract
Volleyball is a game that requires players to master several techniques perfectly, such as passing up and down, set up (pass), smash/spike, serve, and blocking techniques. Volleyball players must have the ability to jump up (vertical jump) very well because it will be useful and supportive during the game. There are several methods that are often used to increase jump height, one of which is the Skipping training method. This study aims to determine the effect of skipping training on vertical jump height in the MAN 3 Sukabumi extracurricular volleyball game. The research was carried out using experimental methods with a quantitative approach and a one group pre-test post-test design. The population was 20 athletes and the sample was 20 athletes with a sampling technique using total sampling. The instruments used in this research were the vertical jump test and skipping exercise treatment. From the results of processing the jump height variable using the paired sample t test with a sig value of 0.000 < 0.05, it can be concluded that there is an influence of skipping training on vertical jump height in extracurricular MAN 3 Sukabumi.
