Coral reef degradation in coastal areas reduces habitat quality and alters the communities of reef fish structure. This study aimed to compare the structure of reef fish communities between coral transplantation sites using the spider web method and non-transplantation sites in the waters of Labuan Village, Tojo Una-Una Regency, Central Sulawesi. Observations were conducted three times applying the Underwater Visual Census (UVC) method along 50 m² transects. The analyzed parameters included the diversity index (H’), evenness (E), dominance (D), abudance index, composition of the number and families of reef fish and water quality indicators such as temperature, pH, salinity, dissolved oxygen, water transparency, depth. The results showed that the transplantation site had higher diversity (H’ = 3.62–3.69), stable evenness (E = 0.99–1.00), low dominance (C = 0.026–0.027), and Reef fish higher abundance compared to the non-transplantation site (3.30-5.98). An independent samples t-test indicated significant differences (p < 0.05) in diversity, evenness, dominance, and abundance of reef fish between the coral transplantation and non-transplantation sites. It was determined that the spider web method of coral transplantation was effective when supported by appropriate water quality in increasing the stability community of reef fish
